Is Organic food better for the environment?
Yellow: Organic food produces uses less pesticides, therefore, there are less chemicals in the atmosphere.
Black: Aw, but often times organic farming needs more resources, which leads to more waste.
White: Some studies have shown organic farming producing more CO2 emission than non-organic food.[1]
Green: Organic and non-organic both have their advantages and disadvantages. Perhaps you need to look at your own situation instead trying to make one type of farming fit all.
Blue: Not to mention, that growing is only a part of emission from food. There is also transportation and preparation of food.
Blue: And reduction of meat consumption may do more than anything to reduce CO2 emissions.
White: Livestock may account for 51% of the global emissions.[2]
Subtext: Although there is technically more the environment health than emissions.
