Take away the pay?
Yellow: Larger pay leads to corruption, you should make sure people don't make an excessive amount.
Black: But how do you define “excessive”? Besides, when it comes to firefighters and teachers we're always saying we should increase their pay.
Green: It would be wrong to say money completely influences our quality of work, but just as wrong to say money has no influence.
Green: Why do we work? What encourages us to do better? What causes us to only care about own self-interest?
Green: These are complicated questions which can't simply be answered by “money”.
